REGISTRATION

Registration is only possible via the online registration form on the Organizer's website and/or at a location designated by the Organizer.

Children aged 15 to 18 (birth years 2008–2011) may only participate in the main race and must pay the entry fee for the main race.

Only children under 15 years of age (birth year 2012 and later) may register for the children's tracks.

Registration is valid only after the entry fee has been paid. Payment means the credit of the entry fee to the Organizer's account in full, either in cash, by bank transfer, or by credit card.

Without payment of the entry fee, the application is invalid. The entry fee must be paid on the day the application is submitted. If the organizer does not receive the entry fee within five working days of registration, the application will be cancelled.

From October 15th, only card payments are possible. Registration ends on October 25th at midnight. However, the full entry fee must be credited to the organizer's account by October 25th at the latest.

As part of the online registration, a race T-shirt (for adults and children) can be purchased at the price indicated during registration. The race T-shirt must be selected during online registration for the race. The size of the T-shirt ordered during online registration cannot be changed. T-shirts can be ordered in the regions until October 15th.

The entry fee is non-refundable.

If the race cannot take place due to force majeure or a reason not caused by the organizer (e.g., natural disaster, epidemic), the entry fee will not be refunded.

On-site registration is only possible until the race capacity is reached. If a local organizer allows participants to start beyond the set capacity of the Race, these participants are not entitled to a Race Pack and a finisher's medal and must pay the entry fee specified by the Organizer.

RACE LEVELS

The races are divided into three levels based on their size: BĚH (RUN), ZÁVOD (RACE), VELKÝ ZÁVOD (MAJOR RACE). Individual race levels differ in certain aspects:

1. BĚH (RUN) – the local organizer is not obliged to organize a competitive race, i.e., to measure time or determine the ranking of runners, but must provide an overview of participants, who are of course entitled to participation medals and will be listed in the results so they can save their commemorative certificate. Unless the organizer decides otherwise, winners are not announced.

2. ZÁVOD (RACE) - time does not have to be measured by an electronic timing system. It can be measured by a stopwatch. Results and times will be displayed on the website in the results section. The organizer announces winners according to the categories listed in their specific race details.

3. VELKÝ ZÁVOD (MAJOR RACE) – mandatory time measurement by an electronic timing system. Results and times will be displayed on the website in the results section. The organizer announces winners according to the categories listed in their specific race details.

The level of a given race is indicated on the individual race pages, including details that the local organizer has decided to implement beyond the mandatory requirements mentioned above.

RACE AND RACE PACKS

Participants under 15 years of age (birth year 2012 and later) may participate in the main race ONLY with the consent of a responsible representative.

By submitting the online form, each participant declares that they have read the propositions and rules of this race, agree with them, and will follow them, that they start at their own risk, are medically fit, and sufficiently insured for the race, and will follow the instructions of the organizer and the organizing service.

Every race participant is obliged to follow the race route, have the starting number attached in the prescribed manner (i.e., on the chest, firmly and visibly) and, if a chip timing method is used, have the electronic chip properly attached.

The Organizer is not responsible for and does not compensate for any harm (especially damage to health and property) incurred by participants in connection with the race.

The race organizer is not responsible for items left unattended.

For the Prague race, the organizer provides a storage area and a changing room.

The race organizer hereby asks all participants to protect the environment as much as possible, not to litter, and to move only in the pre-defined areas.

The organizer of the Sokolský běh republiky series reserves the right to disqualify any runner from the race who demonstrably violates the rules defined by the IOC Code of Ethics (hereinafter: the Code). A disqualified runner is not relieved of personal responsibility for compensation for damage to injured parties as a result of their violation of the Code.

The Race Pack can only be picked up at the given place and time designated by the organizer.

Unclaimed packs cannot be picked up later or claimed in any other way.

A participant in the Prague race must present the email with the assigned starting number.

The starting number and chip are non-transferable to another person. Violation leads to disqualification.

Only properly registered runners may participate in the races.

Runners may only participate in the race in their age category (according to birth year).

It is forbidden to shorten the race track in any way.

It is strictly forbidden to use roller skates, trekking poles, bicycles, or other means of transport along the entire length of the main race tracks in individual cities, and to run with a dog or a baby stroller.

In the event that parents physically help their children complete the race (holding hands, pulling the child to the finish line, etc.), a penalty of 20 seconds will be added to the runner, and they may face potential removal from the results list.

Refreshments for runners will be served at the finish line and in the base area.

Time is measured for everyone from the starting shot (gun time). The ranking is determined according to this time. Net time from crossing the start line will only be provided for races that have an electronic timing system.

Prizes for winners are not legally enforceable.

Every participant is obliged to read and respect the propositions and rules that the organizer publishes before the race on their website www.behrepubliky.cz. The participant confirms that they will follow the race rules. If they violate these rules in any way, it may result in disqualification or subsequent exclusion of the participant from future events of this race.

The organizer reserves the right to change the program, propositions, these rules, and conditions without prior notice.

In case of any ambiguity regarding the interpretation of these rules, the organizer decides. None of the organizer's decisions are subject to judicial or other review.

At the main race in Prague, absolute winners are announced by gender (1st - 3rd place).

In the regions, categories are announced according to the information provided for the specific race in the propositions.
