INFORMATION FOR PARTICIPANTS
General Information
Sokolský běh republiky in Vémyslice will take place in the RUN format. This means that final time is not measured and no results list with runner rankings is created. It is truly a run for fun without racing. And what will you get from the organizers? In the event village, everyone picks up their starter pack with a bib number and other gifts from the organizers and partners, and at the finish line, a beautiful medal in the shape of the republic awaits everyone.
Main Route
➤ Adults 5.6 km
The start is at the Sokol hall next to the elementary school, continuing downhill across the river. Past the river, the path turns left over the weir and a small bridge toward the local swimming pool. It continues past the pub all the way back to the rear entrance of the swimming pool. From there, it continues toward Kuchyňkův mlýn uphill, where there is a meadow at which you turn right toward Rybníky and continue above the river along a dirt road; then the path leads back down to the Rokytná river (at the small cross) where you turn right toward the swimming pool. You run through the gate by the weir, around the swimming pool, and again in the same direction that was taken to the swimming pool. The path continues back up along the river to the local Sokol hall. Competitors will encounter gravel, forest paths, and dirt roads along the route.
Children's Routes
➤ 1,000 m - birth years 2012 - 2015
The start is from the Sokol hall, continuing past the school toward the bus stop, from where the path continues left along the school. Then the path turns left again toward the sports ground, continuing along the multifunctional field up back to the Sokol hall. Competitors will encounter asphalt, gravel, and sidewalk on the course. 2 loops will be run.
➤ 500 m - birth years 2016 - 2020
The start is from the Sokol hall, continuing past the school toward the bus stop, from where the path continues left along the school. Then the path turns left again toward the sports ground, continuing along the multifunctional field up back to the Sokol hall. Competitors will encounter asphalt, gravel, and sidewalk on the course.
➤ 170 m - birth years 2021 and younger
Children will run 1 loop inside on the multifunctional sports ground.
Accompanying Program
An accompanying program for children will be available on site, open to everyone regardless of whether they participate in the run or not. Various sports games will be prepared for children.
Facilities for Runners
Men's and women's toilets are inside the Sokol hall. Refreshments at the finish line for all competitors, as well as backpack storage, etc.
Parking
Parking is possible along the Sokol hall and the local school.
