INFORMATION FOR PARTICIPANTS
General Information
Sokolský běh republiky in Sruby will take place in the RACE format. This means that time does not have to be measured by a timing system. But don't worry, you won't miss out on your final time or the winner announcement! And what will you get from the organizers? In the event village, everyone picks up their starter pack with a bib number and other gifts from the organizers and partners, and at the finish line, a beautiful medal in the shape of the republic awaits everyone.
Main Route
➤ Adults 6.3 km
The start of the route will be at the Sokol hall in Sruby, running towards the church and further into the Sruby forest (uphill – elevation profile 113 m), turning left towards the partisan monument, around Čertův dub (Devil's Oak), at the partisan monument right towards Darebnice, before Darebnice turning towards Sruby, around the pond back to the finish line at the Sokol hall sports ground. The route will be marked with barrier tape and signposts. Terrain - paved surface, start and end of the route on road.
Children's Routes
➤ 1.1 km - birth years 2012 - 2015
The start is at the Sokol hall, running towards the cemetery to the left, around the small pond and back around the rear to the Sokol hall. The surface is asphalt, the route will be marked with barrier tape and signposts, and when running along the road, a running lane will be demarcated with cones for safety. Safety for runners crossing the road will be secured on the route. Children in this category run alone.
➤ 1.1 km - birth years 2016 - 2020
The start is at the Sokol hall, running towards the cemetery to the left, around the small pond and back around the rear to the Sokol hall. The surface is asphalt, the route will be marked with barrier tape and signposts, and when running along the road, a running lane will be demarcated with cones for safety. Safety for runners crossing the road will be secured on the route. Children in this category run alone.
➤ 200 m - birth years 2021 and younger
Children will run from the Sokol hall towards the small monument, turn around a cone, and run back to the Sokol hall. The route is on an asphalt road. A lane will be demarcated with cones for the safety of the runners. These children may run accompanied by parents.
Accompanying Program
Accompanying program for children – sports stations will be prepared on the sports ground (or in the gym - depending on the weather). (parents are responsible for children)
Facilities for Runners
Changing rooms with showers are available in the complex for interested participants. Valuables or backpack storage is available upon request from the organizer. Men's, women's, and accessible toilets are inside the Sokol hall.
Sokol club will be open – option to purchase refreshments.
Parking
Parking in the public parking lot next to the Sokol hall, bike racks in the Sokol hall complex.
