INFORMATION FOR PARTICIPANTS

General Information

Sokolský běh republiky in Kutná Hora will take place in the BIG RACE format. This means that time is measured by a professional timing system. At the finish line, the organizers will award the fastest runners. But every participant will enjoy it! What can you look forward to? In the event village, everyone picks up their starter pack with a bib number and other gifts from the organizers and partners, and at the finish line, a beautiful medal in the shape of the republic awaits everyone.

Main Routes

➤ Adults 5.7 km

The start is from the athletic track of the Sokolák sports field into Sudoměřická street. Along Sudoměřická street to the intersection with Tachovská street and from there along a concrete slab road between surrounding fields to the local menhir. From the menhir along a dirt path through the field and further along an asphalt road to Headless John (Bezhlavý Ján), where the local forest park is looped, returning along the same path back to Sokolák, where the finish line will be.

➤ 900 m - birth years 2012 - 2015

The start is on the athletic oval, which is run around once completely (small loop), then heading onto the grass and running around the athletic oval 2x, partly along the upper grass section and partly along the classic tartan track (big loop).

➤ 600 m - birth years 2016 - 2019

The start is on the athletic oval, which is run around once completely (small loop), then heading onto the grass and running around the athletic oval once, partly along the upper grass section and partly along the classic tartan track (big loop).
