INFORMATION FOR PARTICIPANTS
General Information
The Sokol Run of the Republic in Dolní Újezd will take place in a RACE format. This means that timing may not be done with official timekeeping equipment. But don't worry, you won't miss out on your final time or the winners' announcement! And what will you get from the organizers? At the facilities, everyone can pick up their starter pack with a bib number and other gifts from the organizers and partners. A beautiful medal in the shape of the republic awaits everyone at the finish line.
The routes lead through a landscape with a slight elevation gain, with the surface consisting of asphalt, forest, and field paths. The main race and the children's runs both start at the Sokol Hall in Dolní Újezd and offer a great opportunity to enjoy the holiday with physical activity. Facilities with changing rooms, refreshments, and parking are prepared for the convenience of all participants.
Main Route
➤ Adults 8.9 km
The race route starts at the Sokol Hall in Dolní Újezd and partially follows the course of the Desná stream. After crossing the river, it heads towards the surrounding fields. After approximately 3.5 km, the competitors return partly along the same route and then continue along the edge of the other side of the village to the finish. The surface of the route is a combination of asphalt and paved forest and field paths, offering a varied running experience.
Children's Route
➤ 1.4 km - birth years 2011 and younger
The children's route starts at the Sokol Hall and follows an asphalt road towards the fields. After about 100 meters, the children turn left and run through the housing estate, which they will run around before returning to the field with the artificial surface. They will head straight to the finish line alongside the field and the school. The children will be divided into age categories (up to 6 years, up to 10 years, and up to 15 years).

Maruška Ropková - warm-up with runners of all age categories.
A rich buffet for all fans of the competitors.
Facilities for Runners
Changing rooms and toilets are in the Sokol Hall. Showers are available upon request. Refreshments are prepared at the finish line for all competitors.
Parking and Transport
Parking is provided in front of the shopping center and behind the school.
