INFORMATION FOR PARTICIPANTS
General Information
The Sokol Run of the Republic in Cerhovice will take place in a RACE format. This means that timing may not be done with official timekeeping equipment. But don't worry, you won't miss out on your final time or the winners' announcement! And what will you get from the organizers? At the facilities, everyone can pick up their starter pack with a bib number and other gifts from the organizers and partners. A beautiful medal in the shape of the republic awaits everyone at the finish line.
The award ceremony for the adult races will take place after the last competitors have finished and the results have been processed.
Main Route
➤ Adults 8.7 km
A very relaxed route with little elevation gain, running on unpaved forest and field paths. Those who like asphalt will enjoy some of that too.
After starting at the football field, you will run onto a 1km long meadow to warm up your legs. The route then leads to the springs and continues through the forest to the Čáp pond. There the route turns and after an approximately 1km long asphalt section, you will return to the forest. Then, a short climb to the ridge of Třenická hora awaits you (participants of the Josefský Běh will know it), and you're almost done. A downhill stretch of less than 2km with a beautiful view of the Brdy hills and the surrounding area awaits you.
Children's Routes
Children's categories are not listed, but children can participate in the race accompanied by their parents.
Accompanying Program
A moderator will guide you through the afternoon, and refreshments, including hot and cold drinks, will be available for all participants.
Facilities for Runners
A changing area, toilets, and refreshments will be available at the start area.
