INFORMATION FOR PARTICIPANTS
General Information
Sokolský běh republiky in Cerhovice will take place in the RACE format. This means that time does not have to be measured by a timing system. But don't worry, you won't miss out on your final time or the winner announcement! And what will you get from the organizers? In the event village, everyone picks up their starter pack with a bib number and other gifts from the organizers and partners, and at the finish line, a beautiful medal in the shape of the republic awaits everyone.
The award ceremony for adult races will take place after the last runners finish and the results are processed.
Main Route
➤ Adults 8.7 km
A very relaxed route with low elevation gain leading along unpaved forest and field paths; those who like asphalt will enjoy it too.
After starting at the football pitch, you will run onto a 1 km long meadow where you will warm up your legs. The route then leads to natural springs and continues through the forest to Čáp Pond. There the route turns around and, after an approx. 1 km long asphalt section, returns back into the forest. Then all that awaits you is a short climb to the ridge of Třenická mountain (participants of the Josefský run know) and you're almost done. Less than 2 km downhill awaits you with a beautiful view of Brdy and the surrounding area.
Children's Routes
Children's categories are not open, but children can complete the race accompanied by their parents.
Accompanying Program
A host will guide you through the entire afternoon, and refreshments, including hot and cold drinks, will be available for all participants.
Facilities for Runners
A changing area, toilets, and refreshments will be available at the start area.
