INFORMATION FOR PARTICIPANTS
General Information
Sokolský běh republiky in Bystřice pod Hostýnem will take place in the RACE format. This means that time does not have to be measured by a timing system. But don't worry, you won't miss out on your final time or the winner announcement! And what will you get from the organizers? In the event village, everyone picks up their starter pack with a bib number and other gifts from the organizers and partners, and at the finish line, a beautiful medal in the shape of the republic awaits everyone.
Main Race
➤ Adults 5.5 km
The start is at the Sokol hall towards the train station. The route crosses the railway tracks; the crossing will be secured. It continues along the tracks through a garden colony towards Končiny, where the terrain rises. At the highest point, the route intersects the cycle path towards Slavkov pod Hostýnem and will continue along a field path down the hill back to Bystřice. On the way back, the route crosses the tracks again. The finish line is at the Sokol hall.
Children's Race
➤ 1 km - birth years 2012 - 2015
The course leads through the park on grass and pavement. Children will run 2 loops. The course is off public roads. The park is adjacent to the Sokol hall, where the facilities will be located.
➤ 500 m - birth years 2016 - 2020
The course is identical to the route for older children. Younger ones will run only one loop.
➤ 50 m - birth years 2021 and younger
An easy route will be prepared on the Sokol sports field.
Accompanying Program
An accompanying program and entertainment for children and adults will be available on site. Interested participants can try Nordic walking. A lecture by an endurance runner is currently being arranged.
Facilities for Runners
Changing rooms and toilets are available for participants in the complex. Light refreshments will be provided. Refreshments at the finish line for all competitors.
Parking
Free parking is available in the immediate vicinity of the Sokol hall.
