INFORMATION FOR PARTICIPANTS
General Information
Sokolský běh republiky in Babice nad Svitavou will take place in the RACE format. This means that time does not have to be measured by a timing system. But don't worry, you won't miss out on your final time or the winner announcement! And what will you get from the organizers? In the event village, everyone picks up their starter pack with a bib number and other gifts from the organizers and partners, and at the finish line, a beautiful medal in the shape of the republic awaits everyone.
Main Route
➤ Adults 6.7 km
The start and finish of the race is in the courtyard in front of the Sokol hall. The route leads through the village around the Memorial to the Victims of the World Wars and the monument of Josef Hybeš, passing the Memorial of 10 Years of Czechoslovakia (28 Oct 1928) in the forest section. The route is moderately challenging with an elevation gain of 134 m. It will take you through the landscape of the Moravian Karst over all types of surfaces.

Accompanying Program
Seating and a children's workout playground will be available on site. Children can try out the running track.
Facilities for Runners
In the gymnasium facilities, a changing room, toilets, and showers are available, and refreshments will be provided for competitors throughout the day.
Parking and Transport
By the football pitch, approx. 8 minutes' walk, will be marked on site.
