INFORMATION FOR PARTICIPANTS
General Information
The Sokol Run of the Republic in Babice nad Svitavou will take place in a RACE format. This means that timing may not be done with official timekeeping equipment. But don't worry, you won't miss out on your final time or the winners' announcement! And what will you get from the organizers? At the facilities, everyone can pick up their starter pack with a bib number and other gifts from the organizers and partners. A beautiful medal in the shape of the republic awaits everyone at the finish line.
Main Route
➤ Adults 6.7 km
The start and finish of the race are in the courtyard in front of the Sokol Hall. The route leads through the village past the Memorial to the Victims of the World Wars and the monument to Josef Hybš. In the forest section, it passes the Memorial of 10 years of the Czechoslovak Republic (28.X.1928). The course is moderately challenging with an elevation gain of 134 m. It will take you through the landscape of the Moravian Karst on all types of surfaces.
Children's Routes
➤ 800 m - birth years 2011 - 2014 and 2015 - 2017
The children's race route leads around the Sokol Hall, where runners will complete a section on a paved path and also run on a grassy surface. Older children will run this route twice.
➤ 500 m - birth years 2018 - 2020 and 2021 and younger
The children's race route leads around the Sokol Hall, where runners will complete a section on a paved path and also run on a grassy surface.
Accompanying Program
Seating and a children's workout playground will be available on site. Children can try out the running track.
Facilities for Runners
In the gym facilities, there is a changing room, toilets, and showers available. Refreshments for competitors will be provided throughout the day.
Parking and Transport
Near the football field, approx. 8 min walk, will be marked on site.
